The Maui News The state Department of Health’s Food and Drug Branch is warning residents of several over-the-counter eyedrop products sold by national retailers that could potentially cause eye infections due to unsanitary conditions in the manufacturing facility.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration put out a safety alert for the eyedrops, which may have been purchased from CVS/Longs Drugs, Target or Walmart under the following brand names: CVS Health, Target Up & Up and Walmart Equate Hydration PF Lubricant Eye Drop.
