So...DHL delivered my package to the wrong address...For context, this past Sunday I went ahead and ordered item/1213425 from Amazon JP. The package arrived in my state two days ago and was out for delivery yesterday. Like a child, I pretty much waited by the door all day yesterday. Around 8:30 pm, I received a text that the package had been delivered. I go outside to look, nothing...
Concerned, I email DHL regarding the whereabouts of the package. They replied this morning saying that it had been delivered and provided photo proof. That's not my home. I kinda start to panic and ended up driving around my neighborhood looking for this random house.
Well, I found the damn house. Unfortunately, the package was no longer outside and no one seemed to be home. I left them my phone number and am now just waiting by the phone in the hopes that they will contact me...
I also went ahead and contacted DHL again to started a missing package report just in case I am unable to get my package:/
Has anyone else experienced having a figure delivered to the wrong place? How'd it go? This is unfortunately the second time I've had this happen. First was last year with item/862418 . He was delivered in a completely different state! luckily Game Stop refunded me right away.
UPDATE: the homeowner did call me and said she had my package. She also said that she had "called" (not sure if she meant Amazon or DHL) about the package and that "they" told her to throw it away??? Bless this elderly woman's heart for not listening to them!!! Taiga is now home with me, safe and sound ^^
